Michelle Whitlock, MS, MFT Candidate
Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma Baptist University. She is currently pursuing licensure as a LMFT candidate. She is also certified in CALM, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and is a certified facilitator for Prepare/Enrich for couples therapy.
Although Michelle loves working with individuals and families, she has a special interest in working with couples. Often couples find themselves feeling stuck in negative patterns without the tools or skills to work towards positive change. Michelle works thoughtfully around the dynamics of relationships to help find ways to interrupt these negative cycles and help them feel more connected. It is important to create a space of safety to explore emotions and the ability to connect with each other in a new way. Michelle uses an integrated approach to therapy, but often utilizes Experiential Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy in intentional ways to work towards the client's goals.
She is currently accepting private pay clients at a rate of $60/session.
